These Halloween chocolate sprinkle cookies are easy to make, festive, and tasty. Once baked, the kiss becomes creamy, while the dough resembles a brownie.

Ingredients

Using a stand mixer or electric hand mixer, beat butter and sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 2
Add cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
Step 3
Beat in egg and vanilla until combined.
Step 4
Add flour and mix until incorporated, scraping down sides to thoroughly blend.
Step 5
Refrigerate dough until firm, about 1 hour.
Step 6
Chocolate Cookie Dough Balls with Halloween Sprinkles
When firm, remove from fridge and divide into 38-40 pieces. Using the palm of your hand, shape the dough into round balls.
Step 7
Chocolate Cookie Dough Covered in Halloween Sprinkles
Carefully pour sprinkles onto a small plate. Roll the dough balls over the sprinkles until fully covered. Place the cookies onto two non-stick or buttered baking sheets and cook for 8 minutes.
Step 8
Remove the cookies from the oven and quickly place a Hershey's kiss in the center of each cookie. Allow them to cool slightly, then serve.
